A catalogue chosen one by one
We do not try to sell every excursion on the coast. We keep a short catalogue of day trips from Málaga and the Costa del Sol, chosen one by one, and we stand behind each one of them.
Only licensed travel companies
Every day trip on this website is run by a licensed travel company. If we would not send a friend on it, it does not go on the list.
Every trip, explained as it really is
Before a day trip goes on this website we go through it point by point: what it includes and what it does not, where it picks you up, how long the day really is and what makes it longer, what happens if you cancel, and which documents you need at a border. Where we cannot confirm something, the page says so instead of filling the gap with something that sounds right.
How we look after you
Before you book
Ask us anything: whether a stop is near your hotel, whether a day works with small children, which trip makes the most of the one free day you have. We answer quickly, in English or Spanish.
When you book
No booking fees: the price the calendar shows before you pay is the price you pay. Free cancellation, with the notice for each trip on its page. And pickups in Málaga city centre and in other towns on the Costa del Sol, each stop opening in Google Maps on the exact spot where you wait.
If anything goes wrong
Write to us and we help you sort it out with the company that runs your trip.
Where these days out take you
Every trip starts on the same stretch of coast and comes back the same day, reaching as far as Seville to the west, Granada to the east and Gibraltar to the south.

Marbella & MijasPeople from Andalusia
We are an Andalusian company, and the trips on this website are chosen by people from here. We know every destination we offer first-hand — the gorge at Ronda, the Alhambra, the Rock of Gibraltar, the medina of Tetouan, the white streets of Frigiliana — and that is where the practical advice on these pages comes from: what to take, how much walking a place involves, where your free time is best spent.
When you write to us, the answer comes from someone here, not from a call centre.
A free guide to Málaga
We have also put together a 15-page guide to Málaga and the Costa del Sol: getting around, where to stay, what to see and eat, and the day trips worth taking. It is free to download and there is no form to fill in.
Questions about Málaga Sightseeing
Who is behind Málaga Sightseeing?
An Andalusian company run by Eduardo Ballesteros. The business details are in the legal notice.
Is it cheaper to book somewhere else?
No. There is no booking fee and no service charge: the amount the calendar shows before you pay is the amount you pay.
How do I book, and how do I know it went through?
Choose your date and your pickup point in the calendar on the trip's page and pay there. A confirmation arrives by email with your pickup point, your time and a phone number for the day. The page How booking works goes through it step by step.
What if I have to cancel?
Cancellation is free. Each trip's page tells you how far ahead you can cancel, and the cancellations page has the full detail.
What happens if something goes wrong?
If your trip is today or tomorrow, call the phone number you will find on your booking voucher. For anything else, or if you are not getting an answer, write to us and we help you sort it out.
Can I ask you something before I book?
Yes, and it is what we are here for. We answer quickly. Tell us your dates and where you are staying, and we will tell you which day trip fits — and which one does not.
