Embark on an exhilarating day trip from Málaga to the Caminito del Rey, an unforgettable experience that blends natural beauty and historical significance. We’ll pick you up by bus at the agreed time and location, and begin our scenic journey through Málaga and the Costa del Sol, heading towards Ardales.
Our adventure starts at the northern entrance, where we begin our walk along the famed pathway. This tour is the most comfortable and convenient way to visit this remarkable site, originally constructed between 1901 and 1905. The Caminito del Rey, considered a miracle of engineering, was inaugurated in 1925 by King Alfonso XIII, whose journey along the path gives it its name.
Accompanied by our passionate and knowledgeable guide, you’ll learn about the history and secrets of this extraordinary route, as well as the economic motivations behind its construction. The pathway stretches 7.7 kilometers, winding through the dramatic gorges of Los Gaitanes and El Gaitanejo. As you traverse the trail, enjoy stunning views of the Guadalhorce River, Mediterranean vegetation, and the awe-inspiring landscape.
One of the highlights is crossing the famous “chocolate staircase” and walking on the transparent viewing platform, offering a thrilling perspective of the canyon below. You’ll feel the adrenaline rush as you cross the hanging bridge, suspended 105 meters above the gorge, and continue your journey along the narrow pathways that hug the cliffs.
After approximately 4 hours and 4.8 kilometers of breathtaking views and exhilarating heights, we’ll reach the southern exit near the El Chorro reservoir. Here, you’ll return your helmets and board the bus for a comfortable ride back to Málaga, filled with memories of an incredible adventure.
Join us for a guided tour from Málaga to the Caminito del Rey, where every step is an opportunity to immerse yourself in one of Spain’s most stunning natural wonders. This is not just a hike; it’s an experience of a lifetime.

Anyway, the maximum number of people per official guide is 30.
